Hi Jonathan,

Thanks for the question. The basic way the body works is that it requires vitamins, minerals, enzymes, bacteria, and water to allow the body to function normal. As we participate in activities throughout the day we use up these nutrients, so it is helpful to have foods and nutrients from sources like supplements that replenish these nutrients so we continue to enjoy great health.

Since our body is made up of mostly water when a person introduce any acid liquid into the body it depletes the body of the nutrients faster because the body has to buffer the acid. So to answer your question, You eat a banana and supplement with the magnesium and calcium as it helps to replenish the body's supply, but the next question is how much and how often will be enough to keep up with the demand that is placed on the body if one continues to drink liquids that are acidic? It is much easier to just introduce liquids that are alkaline and not over work the body especially the digestive system.

I hope this makes sense. If not just email me back and I will clear up any confusion.

Magnesium, pottasium, and calcium were mentioned. Do you feel that having a banana and supplementing the mag and calc in a tab form or powder (non acidic) drink form could work? Thanks, Jonathan

Hi Cheryl,

Thanks for sharing. My son did not outgrow eczema it is completely gone because I refused to give up and believe there was no cure. I went the holistic route and sought out help from more knowledgeable people who knew exactly how to help my son. My son's liver and colon were his main issues that caused his skin to take up the slack. We got his liver and colon working and then we were able to work on his digestion. Namely all the foods he was reacting to as well as environmental allergies.

My suggestion is to start with hydration. Asthma is directly related to dehydration. But the water you want to use is one with a pH of 7.0 or higher such as Mountain Valley Spring Water.

When you sign up for my free newsletter you get more information on other areas that are possible causes plus techniques for caring for her skin.

Thanks again for sharing and let me know how I can help you and your child stop the eczema.

Sadly, no matter waht we do we can't seem to heal my daughter's eczema. Interesting article though. We have been dealing with her eczema for almost 6 years now. She began to first break out when she was merely one month old. She now also has asthma. I am not so sure about the energy thing stated in your article. Most of the time eczema is caused by an allergy and 50% of children with eczema develop asthma. We have done nothing but try to treat and cure my daughter. Eczema has no cure and yes some children do outgrow it and never have problems with it later. Others are not so lucky.

Hi Crystal,

It would depend on the quality of the licorice powder. If the licorice powder has been refined to where it has lost it's healing qualities then the results of the potion may not be as healing as the licorice root with all it's healing qualities.

Does that make sense?

Isha,

Thanks for the testimonial. I am grateful to be able to support other families by sharing all my son and I discovered.

It is so wonderful that you found a solution for your child to stop the eczema, and is now figuring a way to duplicate it at home.

I have heard several other testimonials from other parents that experienced similar results so the sea water definitely provides a solution for those who live near a beach or can visit one often.

When I started filtering the chlorine from the water I was introduced to dead sea salt and was told it would help but I declined because it contained fragrance. My son had such great results with the filtered water that I only added sulfur to the water which aided in healing his skin. But you are right on track to add some "unrefined" sea salt to the water. You can also use it in the meals you are preparing which is healing to the body and skin.

Keep in mind, the bath ball is the most inexpensive purchase to test your theory compared to all the others filters.

Good luck and thanks so much again for your support and your testimonial.
