Can Your Cell Phone be affecting You and Your Child?

Main Content No Comments »

While in graduate school I learned about electromagnetic frequency and the dangers it poses to our body. The problem is that in order for an electronic device to work it generates an electromagnetic frequency. Without this EMF the electronic device will not work. Unfortunately, we cannot see these frequencies but our body knows it is there and with the increase in communication and technology our bodies are being overwhelmed with this silent danger. Why does this matter? Because our cells communicate with each other with its own frequency pulse. With all the exposure it is confusing the communication process our bodies require to maintain health. Children are especially vulnerable because the rate at which their cells are dividing is much faster than that of an adult so their exposure is critical to their health and well being.

What does all this mean? It means that if you don’t take note now you can be living in danger where you and your child in being exposed to a life threatening situation that you can control if you only know how. Check out this video and see for yourself.

Cell Phone Dangers

SOLUTIONS

In order to find solutions to this problem you need to know the sources of EMF exposure. They include refrigerator, electrical stoves, microwaves, electric ovens, stand alone freezers, CD player, DVD player, video games, cordless phones, television, radios, lighting, iPOD, cell phone, cars (especially electric cars), cell towers, electrical towers, radio towers, antennas, and even the wiring behind the walls in your home, schools, offices, restaurants, and public places.

When I learned of this danger I started my own research on how can I protect my family and especially my son from being over expose. I was able to purchase several protectors that ranged from $3.50 to $50 to place in my home, for my cell phone, home phone and vehicle. The difference was amazing. I never know how much I was being affected. I even saw behavior changes in my entire family as well as my son’s eczema. Unfortunately, the protectors I purchased did not last long and I have to consistently replace them. Since that time I found better protectors that do work and last longer. Some are personal that we can wear on our body (ranges $60 to $100) and other to be placed in the home and offices or schools (range $300 to $400). I strive daily to decrease our exposure as much as I can. Even with the protectors I only use my speaker option on my cell phone and cordless home phone as well as teach it to my son as I rarely allow my son to put any cell phone, or cordless phones to his ears.

This problem cannot be avoided the the exposure can be lessened with the protectors. Some protectors are worn on the body, and others can be placed on the electronic devices. Some are more noticeable than others. Some work better and longer than others. I am consistently testing products out as I am very sensitive to the frequencies so I am aware when my protectors stop working.

Little Eyes Sees A Lot…

Main Content No Comments »

This past week as I thought what I was going to discuss I came across this email. It did not have an author for this work but it did indicate it was written by a child. You are probably aware that your child learns from watching you and how you live and handle situation that arises in life. When you think they are not watching they are. Sometimes as parents we get so caught up in problems and situations that we forget our little ones are watching and learning.

As you implements solutions for supporting your child’s with eczema also think about your behavior pattern and how you want your child to handle his/her skin condition. While in their present represent that behavior. Also your behavior must be consistent as children learn by repetition. As your child ages he/she will continue to use that behavior, especially if it is one that is health giving and will stop the scratching.

When you thought I wasn’t looking, I saw you hang my first painting on the refrigerator, and I immediately wanted to paint another one.

When you thought I wasn’t looking, I saw you feed a stray cat, and I learned that it was good to be kind to animals.

When you thought I wasn’t looking, I saw you make my favorite cake for me and I learned that the little things can be the special things in life.

When you thought I wasn’t looking, I heard you say a prayer, and I knew there is a God I could always talk to and I learned to trust in God.

When you thought I wasn’t looking, I saw you make a meal and take it to a friend who was sick, and I learned that we all have to help take care of each other.

When you thought I wasn’t looking, I saw you give of your time and money to help people who had nothing and I learned that those who have something should give to those who don’t.

When you thought I wasn’t looking, I saw you take care of our house and everyone in it and I learned we have to take care of what we are given.

When you thought I wasn’t looking, I saw how you handled your responsibilities, even when you didn’t feel good and I learned that I would have to be responsible when I grow up.

When you thought I wasn’t looking, I saw tears come from your eyes and I learned that sometimes things hurt, but it’s all right to cry.

When you thought I wasn’t looking,I saw that you cared and I wanted to be everything that I could be.

When you thought I wasn’t looking, I learned most of life’s lessons that I need to know to be a good and productive person when I grow up.

When you thought I wasn’t looking, I looked at you and wanted to say, ‘Thanks for all the things I saw when you thought I wasn’t looking.

Why Avoid These Foods and Ingredients?

Main Content No Comments »

This article is being published on the blog with permission from Dr. Mary L. Rodio, PhD. It was so well worded that I did not want to take any credit or detract from the message in any way.

Dr Rodio is the formulator of Dentizyme™ and other natural remedies, She is an Ethnobotanical Research Scientist and the Director of Natura Health Services, Inc. in Scottsdale, Arizona. She researches how plants, foods, and customs influence the health of cultures around the world - socially, emotionally, and physically. Explanation of Foods to Avoid

Beef & Cow’s Dairy Products:
Non organic beef and cow’s dairy contain hormones and steroids to increase size and speed of growth of cattle. These injected hormones cause imbalanced hormonal levels with human ingestion of the beef and cow’s dairy. Steroids are known to lower immunity. Antibiotics are injected into cows to attempt in the prevention of disease in these animals. Antibiotics are designed to kill bacteria — but what about viruses that circulate in the cows? These enter your body too. When you ingest these food products, you are also ingesting the antibiotics that increase the Candida albicans yeast levels in your body. Chemicals and coloring agents are are added to the meat to to enhance its appealing color for a “fresh look” and to increase its shelf life. Cow’s dairy products are known to contain the enzyme xanthine oxidase which has been scientifically studied and found to cause the initiation of vascular sticky plaque buildup and artherosclerosis. Cow’s dairy is high in phosphorus which may cause leaching of calcium out of bones.

Caffeine Products (Coffee, Cocoa, Chocolate, Cola):
May cause hypoglycemia by its continual quick raising and then quick dropping of blood sugar within approximately 20 minutes after caffeine consumption. May leach calcium from bones which may lead to Osteoporosis. May contribute to free flowing calcium in the blood stream that finds its way into joints causing arthritic effects as well as floaters or flashers in the eyes (other circulating toxins may also be the cause of floaters/flashers).

MSG:
May cause food sensitivities, headaches, the development of disease and serious neurological disorders.

Peanuts/Peanut Butter:
May contain afflatoxin mold, a common carcinogen. May also cause jaundice, cirrhosis. May be hidden in ingredients of some packaged foods.

Refined Oils:
Are heated producing trans fatty acids. Trans fatty acids consumption is not recommended since they cause damage to the body at the cellular level. Refined oils lose their natural taste and vital nutrition.

Refined White & Brown Sugar, Artificial Sweeteners and Refined, White Flour Products:
Increases predisposition to dental cavaties and produces a sticky plaque not only on the teeth but on the intestinal wall which inhibits proper assimilation and absorption of nutrients. Note: Brown sugar is white sugar with molasses added. These products may cause diabetes with their continued over consumption. The bleaching agents in these products may leach calcium from the bones, causing Osteoporosis and are toxic to the liver. Artificial sweeteners are known carcinogens.

Soda & Other Carbonated Beverages:
Leaches beneficial oxygen out of the body. Oxygen is needed to sustain life within the cells and tissues of the body and of course for the body itself. Contributes to upset digestion, abdominal gas, bloating and flatulence.

White Rice:
Is missing the hull that contains the beneficial nutrients.Bleaching agents used are toxic to the liver and may draw calcium out of the bones.

Yeast & Sourdough Products:
Aggravate the body’s normal intestinal flora and contribute to the related Candida albicans fungal overgrowth.Candida albicans is known to cause severe hormonal imbalances in the body that not only may cause the common symptoms of headaches, migraines, itchy skin, skin eruptions, etc., but also may contribute greatly in the increased rate of the aging process. Avoid all yeast products (bread, crackers, pretzels, pastry goods, etc.). Even when these products are cooked, the yeast they contain stimulates the Candida albicans growth which in turn contributes to its increased levels in the body.

What Is Beautiful Skin?

Main Content No Comments »

People can spend years searching for the perfect skin care solution for eczema. Finding the right products can be a constant struggle. This is because a lot of products on the market offers quick fixes or cures for eczema, but what most eczema sufferers really want is beautiful skin that does not itch.

The typical first product most eczema sufferers seek is one that stops the itch and inflammation. Even doctors prescribe treatment options based on these two facts. However, eczema is a skin problem that originates from inside the body. See the skin is a reflection of our internal body. What is being reflected out is what is causing an internal inflammatory response that is reflective on the skin. Thus the sufferer often view his/her skin as unattractive.

Beautiful skin is often smooth, even toned, without blemishes or outbreaks, well balanced (neither oily or dry), and it radiates with the proper blood flow. Most eczema sufferers may not have ever experienced this type of skin in his/her life.

However, there are many solutions to help anyone with eczema get to this level of beauty. It is a matter of taking time to implement solutions and allowing those solutions to effectively rebuild his/her damaged skin thus reflecting its beauty.

Do yourself a favor and take time to define what beautiful skin is to you. How do your circle of family and friends respond to beautiful skin versus damaged skin? How are you responding to your damaged skin or that of your child? How do you want people to respond to you or your child?

Cleaning your skin is an important first step to healthy skin. Finding a cleanser that fits your skin type is best. Toners are a more aggressive product while astringents are the strongest of all these types of products.
